Health Knowledge That Lives Within Communities
We believe health knowledge should live within communities - not only within clinics, hospitals, or textbooks.
When people have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to understand and support their own wellbeing, that knowledge can have a ripple effect far beyond the individual.
- One person learns something useful.
- They put it into practice.
- They share what they have learned with their family.
- A neighbour offers support.
- Someone else gains the confidence to help another.
Knowledge is shared. Skills are passed on. Confidence grows.
Over time, these small moments can create meaningful change — helping people feel more informed, empowered and connected, while strengthening the health and wellbeing of the communities they are part of.
Wei Wu Wellness CIC aims to help create communities where health knowledge is accessible, practical and shared — so that people can support not only themselves, but one another.
A Little Bit About Me
Wei Wu is a pioneering London therapist and the founder of Aligned Wellness Academy and Wei Wu Wellness CIC, combining traditional wisdom with modern therapeutic techniques.
Drawing on my father’s expertise in Traditional Chinese Medicine and my years of clinical experience, I am a Registered Senior Member of the Shiatsu Society and a Senior Associate Member of The Royal Society of Medicine.
I also run a clinic in Marylebone, London, offering a professional and welcoming environment where treatments are tailored to each individual.
I founded Wei Wu Wellness CIC to extend my work beyond my private clinic and make holistic wellbeing more accessible to people who may otherwise face barriers to support. I wanted to create a community-focused organisation that could bring together traditional healing principles and modern therapeutic approaches, while offering opportunities for education, self-care and preventative wellbeing.
For me, establishing the CIC is a personal commitment to giving something back to the community. It is about using my knowledge, experience and passion to help people improve their quality of life, build resilience and reconnect with their own capacity for wellbeing. Through Wei Wu Wellness CIC, I hope to create a welcoming and inclusive space where people from different backgrounds can feel valued, supported and empowered.
Ultimately, my vision is to make holistic wellbeing not a privilege for a few, but a more accessible part of everyday life, while building a sustainable community initiative that can make a meaningful and lasting difference to people's lives.
