Community Projects

Community Health In Action

At Wei Wu Wellness CIC, we work alongside local communities, groups and organisations to bring accessible health and wellbeing activities directly to the people and communities who can benefit from them.

We believe that health and wellbeing support should be practical, welcoming and accessible to everyone. Our programmes are designed to help people develop simple, sustainable ways to support their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, while also creating opportunities for connection, learning and shared experience.

Our activities may include:

  • Community wellbeing workshops – practical sessions focused on everyday health and wellbeing.
  • Self-care education – helping people develop simple tools and techniques they can incorporate into daily life.
  • YSD Medicine introductory sessions – accessible introductions to traditional health and wellbeing approaches.
  • Tai Chi and Qigong – gentle practices supporting movement, balance, relaxation and overall wellbeing.
  • Tapping and gentle movement – simple techniques that encourage relaxation, body awareness and self-care.
  • Healthy lifestyle education – sharing practical information to support healthier everyday choices.
  • Community wellbeing events – bringing people together to learn, participate and connect.
  • Activities for older people – inclusive activities designed to encourage movement, confidence and social connection.
  • Family health education – helping families build knowledge and confidence around everyday health and wellbeing.
  • Social connection and community activities – creating welcoming spaces where people can meet, participate and build supportive connections.

Making Wellbeing More Accessible

Where possible, we work with grant funders, community partners and other organisations to make our activities free or subsidised, helping to remove financial barriers and ensure that more people can take part. Through this community-based approach, we aim to make health and wellbeing knowledge more accessible, practical and relevant — while creating opportunities for people to learn, connect and support one another.
